Medford Lakes, New Jersey

The Borough of Medford Lakes developed in the early 20th century as a resort in the Pine Lands of New Jersey. Creeks were dammed to create the borough’s picturesque lakes, and lots were sold for the construction of log cabin summer houses. Medford Lakes over time evolved into a year round community, but the log buildings remained the prevailing method of construction in the core of the Town. Into this core, Ragan Design Group was engaged to design a new Town Hall and Police station; we of course designed a building constructed of logs.
