Ragan Design Group began in the 1970’s with commissions for small office buildings and housing design. Today, architectural credits include Commercial Buildings, Municipal Buildings, Housing, Historic Preservation, and Adaptive Reuse of existing buildings…the building we don’t demolish is often the most environmentally sensitive.
DANIEL R. NICHOLS, AIA, NCARB
Dan joined Ragan Design Group in 2007 and brings with him a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Carnegie Mellon University and over 30 years of experience in commercial, residential, and public projects. His involvement with clients extends from concept through project completion providing programming, design development, cost estimating, project management, and construction administration ensuring continuity from start to finish.
Dan has a passion for fine architecture and design of all eras, especially the work of American Modernist architects. The study of the work of Frank Lloyd Wright has been a constant with Dan and led him to purchase and restore a house designed by Wright in Cherry Hill, NJ. Dan is an active member of the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy Board; and is a member of the Cherry Hill Historical Commission.
Dan is licensed to practice architecture in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, South Carolina, and Arizona.
