Ragan Design Group and the members of the firm have a depth of experience in all types of housing. Because Ragan Design Group are experts in land planning as well as in architecture, their involvement begins before design of the physical dwelling unit and continues through construction, landscaping, interior design, and furnishing. The multi discipline involvement in the housing industry results in a total more coherent and functional product. Ragan Design Group's experience spans the spectrum from low cost mid-rise multi-family and elderly housing to large luxury homes.

Ragan Design Group has, for many years, assisted numerous Townships and Municipalities in writing and upgrading building codes and zoning codes and functions on an ongoing basis, as the code review agent for several of these Townships, reviewing applications for development of housing as well as commercial and recreational improvements in the Townships.

The Firm has designed four large new communities and hundreds of subdivisions representing some 30,000 housing units. The work includes new construction of single-family homes, priced in the low $100,000's to over $1 million on and attached housing ranging from $55,000 to over $600,000.

The office has worked in housing rehabilitation for the Philadelphia Housing Authority, Philadelphia Housing Development Corporation and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Affairs. Services included the initiation of design, contract managment during construction, inspection and acceptance, all in the roll of Owner's representive.

Village Pointe

Location: Medford, NJ
Village Point is a 63-unit single family cluster community designed with generous communal open space and recreation opportunities. The community was designed to foster a sense of community while at the same enjoying the benefits of the close proximity to downtown Medford and surrounding preserved open space.

Legends at Cheraw
Location: Cheraw, SC
Designed on a 392 acre site, this mixed use community includes an active adult 55+ residential component of 535 single family homes, 205 townhomes, and 360 condominiums, and 50,000 SF medical office and 227,00 SF retail.

Harbour Island Townhouses & Condominiums
Location: Ocean City, ME
Client: Purnell-Jarvis, Inc.
This waterfront facility includes 78 townhomes and 216 condominium units in a series of four story buildings with parking located below. The project also includes a clubhouse, swimming pool, tennis courts, and a deep-water marina.

Olde Kensington Pavilion
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Client: Olde Kensington Redevelopment Corporation
This eight-story, senior citizen housing facility was constructed by its non-profit owner under a HUD Section 8/202 program. The facility contained 108 studio and one-bedroom units constructed within the HUD mandated budget and was delivered on schedule.

Location: Loudon Country, VA
Client: Hartford Insurance Company
CountrySide is a planned residential community situated on 1,270 acres fronting on the Potomac River. The project includes 2,500 units in a variety of housing types – from single-family detached homes on two-acre lots to townhouses with densities of eight units per acre. Two schools, commercial and office area, visitors center and recreational facilities are also provided. Conservation of the natural environment was given high priority; over 400 acres of woodland, meadows, ponds and riverfront remain in their natural state.

Clusters at Windrow Pond
Location: Moorestown, NJ
Client: Ducosons, Inc.
This project situated 43 quality residences, in clusters of one and two story buildings to take advantage of the natural setting of ponds and woods indigenous to the Moorestown area. Selling prices were in excess of $300,000 each.

Location: Villanova, PA
Client: Martin Panczner
The site is a 55-acre estate, which historically was home to the Luden family, and features a pond, rolling hills and beautiful ornamental and shade trees. The existing estate home remains on the site and the new residences were designed to complement its architecture. Four units form one building which reflects the style of the original home. Sixty-four residences are clustered to enhance the beauty of the site and employ its resources in creating a uniquely elegant environment. This sense of opulence is carried through to the interiors, which include grand entry foyers with sweeping stairways, elevators, and luxurious finishes throughout. Selling prices start at $500,000.

Wilton's Corner
Location: Winslow, NJ
Client: 437 Land Company
The 692-acre planned community protects the most diverse ecological areas of the site, including a unique wooded ridge, stream corridors and woodlands. Recreational unit types include condominiums, townhouses, and a variety of single-family detached homes, which along with stores and offices, recreational facilities and an elementary school, create a complete community. The plan achieves 2,105 residential units while preserving 317 acres of open space. Selling prices ranged from $90,000 to $250,000. The General Development Plan, prepared by Ragan Design Group, has won several awards.
